Calabasas Tutoring was founded on the belief that every student has the ability to learn!
Over the past twenty years, our staff has helped more than 400 students improve their study habits, comprehension, and test-taking skills. As a result, these students have earned better test scores and grades, and grown in self-esteem, motivation and confidence.

About Michelle
Michelle Karlin, M.Ed., is the founder of Calabasas Tutoring. Michelle is a California Credentialed Teacher with over 20 years experience in the field of education. While in High School, Michelle was tutoring classmates and friends as well as participating in the Academic Decathalon. After graduating from Calabasas High School and receiving the Las Virgenes Educators Award, she studied at California State University Northridge and got her Credentials and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She then went on to be a classroom teacher in Calabasas and started her tutoring company. Michelle has created many amazing methods to help hundreds of students with various learning styles. She has a true passion for education and has an approach to tutoring that addresses each child’s unique academic, organizational, and motivational needs.
